WPMS - The School
.jpg)
WPMS aims to provide an environment in which children are allowed to
grow and develop at their own pace.
The ideals of the school follow the principles of the
Montessori
philosophy, providing child-centred, nursery education that allows each child to
discover their own self-esteem, confidence and independence – a setting
offering freedom, within a safe, structured environment.
We provide high quality Montessori Nursery Education for children between the
ages of two to
five years old, within purpose built premises in the Grid area of Southfields. The School was set up in 1991, moving to its current location in 1994. The
School Principal, Clare Collins, has been teaching at WPMS since 1992, and
purchased the School in 2000.

- Ofsted Inspection
-
WPMS was last inspected by Ofsted in February 2004, and received an
excellent report. The main failing was identified as a lack of
extended outside facilities. This has now been rectified by redesigning
the whole outside play area, complete with the installation of a new soft tarmac
surface. We are not due for our next inspection until February 2008.
Please follow the link above to the Ofsted report in its entirety.
