Creative Development

Creative development for pre-school children needs to be fun.  We are able to provide an environment in which the children can safely explore all aspects of their creative side - without worrying too much about the mess!

Activities include all forms of art and craft, from painting to modelling, drawing to sticking.  We also encourage supervised cookery, and find this is an excellent way for parents and carers to become actively involved in assisting in the classroom. 

Role play activities and regular story time sessions also help to fuel the children's imaginations.  We have also in the past enjoyed visits from local puppeteers.

All the children have an opportunity to explore the enjoyment of music and dance through a weekly session held at the School.  This culminates in the production each year of a Christmas Concert, to which all parents and carers are welcome.

We also offer limited swimming places at a purpose built teaching pool once a week.
